Our favorite part is the phone calls we often receive from our family member of how this nurse played cards with her, or this nurse painted her finger nails, that nurse prayed with her, or this CNA helped her fix her hair, or the therapist that stopped in to simply say hello and check in, or the person who runs the building walking the floor and bringing her a soda or glass of water, or the maintenance team that greet her every morning as they bring supplies in. No one walks by without saying hello and making her feel important. The care they have provided has been a blessing and created an opportunity for my family to transition from caregivers to sons, daughters, brothers, sisters etc. we are able to sleep at night and go through the day knowing she is surrounded by other residents and staff that love and care about her the way we do.
